All through school Chelsea knew what she really wanted to do was to work on yachts. Her father, (a yacht captain) and mother met working on the square-rigged Sea Cloud, a vessel that her grandfather was captain of.

Chelsea started her yachting career in 2009 – a wonderful 12-year period in her life.

She ultimately decided to make Newport home. She enjoys reading, hiking, and yoga and is also taking her bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.
